BRS Booking Instructions

How to use our BRS Booking system

Below is a summary of which options to choose when making bookings on BRS.
Further details for making guest bookings are in this guide.

The person making the booking is always Player 1. You must always book in the name of the member who is playing (and not book your own name in a slot if you are not playing). If a member is unable to access or book via BRS, they must email bgsbookings@outlook.com, and we will add them in.

MEMBERS ONLY
1 Solo players Book your own name (eg J Nicklaus) in the Player 1 slot; if you wish to play alone, or with a non-playing guest, in the Player 2/3/4 slots, select ‘Reserved‘. Reserving these slots will prevent anyone else from booking it.
2 2/3/4 members Book your own name (eg J Nicklaus) in the Player 1 slot and the name of the second member (eg A Palmer) in the Player 2 slot and so on.
Please note, you should not select ‘Member not on list’ – every member is registered, you must enter their name (for the purposes of contact tracing).

MEMBERS’ GUEST(S)
Book your own name in the Player 1 slot and also book in any other members, by name. For any guest(s), select ‘Guest’in the relevant slot(s). you will receive details of how to pay .
Do this at the time you make the booking. Guest fees must be paid at time of booking!
(Please note you cannot pay for guests from the Competition Purse funds.)

If you are no longer able to play, please cancel your booking so that the tee time is available for others.
There is no restriction on the number of guests members may sign in; however, the same person may only be signed in (at the guest fee of £10)4 times in total (per season). For fifth and subsequent visits, they must pay the visitor fee of £25.

Members who are found to have taken guests on to the course without booking (and paying) in advance, will be requested to pay double (£20). Persistent offenders will be disabled from BRS for one month and therefore unable to play golf for that duration.
Any issues or questions, please contact the Secretary on bgssecretary@outlook.com
