Why Join Balfron Golfing Society ?

The Society’s annual subscription is currently £435 with a joining fee of £240 that is payable over the first three years. Country membership for members resident out with a 50 mile radius of the course is available and a range of junior memberships are also available. Access to a Quality Course

Being a member of Balfron GC gives you the opportunity to play when you like, as often as you like and how you like, whether you enjoy the challenge of weekly competition or a relaxing social game.

There are interesting holes, picturesque holes and challenging holes. The terrain is generally level so it is not a gruelling course to play.

Friendly Club

Balfron Golfing Society is a friendly club where new members are made to feel welcome. Our clubhouse is a 
great place for socialising with your friends or family. Children are made welcome.

Membership of our club is a great way to network with other people from the area and make life-long friendships with other members.

On Line Booking & Handicap

BRS Online Booking System: Tee times for competitions, casual golf and visitors can all be booked online quickly and easily via the website.

Get an Official Club Handicap: Only by being a member you can attain an official CONGU handicap. Playing competitions regularly will allow you to get a handicap which reflects your playing standard.

Thriving Juniors Section

Our Juniors section welcomes new members. We have over 50 juniors in the club enjoying competition and Monday night coaching during the summer. All abilities are welcome and players with the ability can play in the club medal competitions for handicap. 


Thriving Seniors Section

Our men’s Seniors Section welcomes new members and hold organised competitions. The Seniors Section also participate in regular team matches against clubs in the area providing the opportunity to play different courses and socialise with golfers from other clubs in the area.

Fantastic Ladies and gents Sections

We have fantastic Ladies and gents Sections which hold organised competitions and participate in regular competitive team matches against other clubs in the area.
