Welcome to Balfron Golf Society
Beautiful 18 hole golf course set in an area of natural beauty of West Stirlingshire Just 20 miles north of Glasgow and West of Stirling in the heart of Scotland. The course offers stunning views of the Loch Lomond and Campsie Mountains. Clubs are available to hire but must be pre-booked by emailing BGSSecretary@outlook.com.

WHS Handicap
When the new system is launched in 2020 it will be easy to use across cultures and will mean: Golfers can compete or play with anyone on a fair and equal basis. The game has a single measure to represent golf ability worldwide. Players will have consistent handicaps within a global golfing community.

or come and pay & play – £30 per round weekdays £35 weekends. Please consult our fixture list to check tee bookings and competition days when there may be some restrictions. Last tee off time during the week is 4pm.

Memberships
The Society’s annual subscription is currently £435 with a joining fee of £240 that is payable over the first three years. Country membership for members resident out with a 50 mile radius of the course is available and a range of junior memberships are also available. Membership details can be obtained from the Society Secretary (see above) .
